Description
This apartment is situated on the first floor with access by elevator or stairs. It has been tastefully decorated thoughout. There are two double bedrooms, master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and there is also a separate shower room. The modern stainless steel kitchen which is fully equipped also containing a washing machine and dishwasher. The spacious lounge and dining room have large patio doors which lead onto a good size balcony area overlooking the swimming pool. The dining/ living room also has CD, DVD, satitlite and cable TV. There is plenty of parking space just outside the apartment for those with a vehicle. There are shops, restaurants, bars & cafes on the Marina complex itself and there is also a large supermarket within walking distance of the apartment.
Towel change is twice weekly and linen once a week.
Pets and children not allowed, unsuitable for elderly or infirm.
The Marina de Lagos is situated within walking distance of the picturesque town centre of Lagos which for two centuries was the region's capital and home port of many explorers who charted the routes to India. The old part with its cobbled streets and flower decked squares have been beautifully restored. There are various markets selling fresh fish, meat and vegetables, a good selection of boutiques, potteries, gift shops. During the summer time street entertainers add to the evening atmosphere providing enjoyment for both children and adults. There are a good selection of restaurants with a vast variety of Portuguese/International cuisine and magnificent fine Portuguese wines. Along the coastline close to the town there are beautiful sandy beaches and impressive rock formations which years of work by the sea has formed these impressive caves and stacks from the cliffs. There are daily boat trips around these caves, the larger boats offering a day trip including lunch on board.
